This policy explains what personal data HUMANTECH COMPANY ("we", "us") collects through the Garage Automobile app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

1. Data we collect

  • Account details: your mobile number (verified with a one-time code), name, profile photo, city and language preference.
  • Content you publish: car listings (car details, photos, price, city, description and the contact number you choose to show), stories (short videos and captions), car requests, and dealership reviews.
  • Messages to sellers: when you contact a seller, the message and the contact details you enter (such as your name, number or email).
  • Device details: a push-notification token, your device platform and the app version, so we can send you notifications.
  • Technical logs: IP address, time and request details recorded by our servers for security and troubleshooting.
  • Subscriptions: the plan you choose and its dates. We do not store payment card details.

The "recently viewed" list is kept on your device and cleared when you sign out. The app sends those listing IDs to our servers only to fetch current prices and recommendations; we do not store them.

This website does not use cookies or third-party analytics.

2. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
  • To publish your listings and stories and show you listings, dealerships and recommendations.
  • To pass your messages and contact details to the seller you contact, and to notify sellers of new enquiries.
  • To send notifications you have allowed, such as messages, matches and updates.
  • To measure how the service is used (for example, how many times a listing is viewed) so we can show sellers statistics and improve the app.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our terms of use, and meet legal obligations.

3. What other users can see

Listings are public inside the app: other users see the car details, photos, price, city, the seller's name or dealership, and the contact number shown on the listing. Stories are visible to all app users while they are live. Reviews show your name. Your messages to a seller are seen only by that seller.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run the service for us: cloud hosting and storage, Google Firebase (mobile-number sign-in) and Expo (push notifications, delivered through Apple and Google).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Some providers may process data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. When that happens we rely on the safeguards required by the PDPL.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account is active.
  • Listings: shown until you remove them or they expire; hot deals end when their timer runs out.
  • Stories: shown for 24 hours, then kept in your "My stories" page with their view counts until you delete them.
  • Server logs: for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting.

When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data, except where the law requires us to keep it.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw a consent you gave, by emailing us at the address below with the mobile number on your account. You can also turn off notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Children

The service is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and verified sign-in to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your device and mobile number safe.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app when a change is significant.
